The Development of a Garage Sale Game
So, I started making another game a little while ago. I know... I start too many new projects... The Gnome Story game is still moving along. That is not stopped. #gnomestory https://www.gnome.com
But, I also started making another game about going to garage sales.
Basically, in it, you go to garage sales, negotiate on the prices for things and then at the end of the day you sell them online and hopefully make some money, so you can go out there and buy more things the next day.
Anyways, a lot of it is done already, but there's several things I still want to add, so I'm setting the goal of completion to be sometime this summer.

Man... I really need to update this more often....
Hi!
...do people read this?
If you are in fact reading this, let me share some of the stuff I'm working on.
First, personal life stuff. Boo! Boring, stressful, and it's personal so I'm not going to share it.
Second, games!
So, I got a team of people working on games. We were making a game called Lutes and Labyrinths. It was going to be in the style of baldur's gate and feature a punk band in medieval fantasy times running around summoning demons, slaying monsters, casting spells, finding lost artifacts, and rocking out.
The 3d aspects of the game were something new to me as far as game development go.
The person helping with that seems to have mostly falsified their resume and then completely abandoned the project.
Basic of this, the project isn't completely canceled but it's on hiatus for an undetermined amount of time.

Space Qwerst
Well it's launch day for my experimental SHMUP (shoot em up).
It was a crazy idea I had once, you make a game that actually plays the way you see people playing computer games on TV; wildly smashing all the buttons on the keyboard as if they were writing an angry novel. (QWOP, eat your heart out!)
I think it turned out pretty good. IF people like it enough I may put more work into it and make it a full length game with unlockables, multiple stages, different ships, who knows.
We'll see how people like it.
Play it here, Free! (unless you want to donate, all the cool kids are donating)

I've been hosting the podcast for the O.H.R.RPG.C.E. and we're up to episode 17.
The O.H.R.RPG.C.E. is an indie video game making engine. I personally use the engine heavily.
This
podcast focuses on the people that use that game making engine and the
games they make with it.
It's available on multiple streaming services such as Spotify, Amazon Music, Podchaser, and Deezer. a direct link is now featured on the right hand side of this site.

New project: My Bud Ledge
So I've embarked on a journey to make what I believe is a very depressing piece of digital art.
I'm hoping to release it sometime this Summer, but as depressing as it sounds, that might not happen.

Projects under development
Currently working on a game called Caged Birds that I'm working on that is a board game idea that I got from a family member. More on that at a later time.
There is also a story based game in the works. Nothing to show so far though.
As for Rogue's Trail, after making the demo the scope of the project proved to be too massive right now. Given the amount of work that needed to be put into it the timeline of production was 6 years, which seemed like too long of a time to devote to the the project. The project has been shelved again for now, but who knows what the future holds.

Tim-Tim 2 is entered into a few Game Making Contests
check this one out if you have the time

Tim-Tim 2: The Almighty Gnome is doing great! Thank you to everyone who's played it so far, and if you haven't head to Steam now! https://store.steampowered.com/app/570110/TimTim_2_The_Almighty_Gnome/
With Tim-Tim 2 finally done, I've gotten to work on some of my other projects. Rogue's Trail (formerly known as Kruntorvas) has gotten a lot of feedback so far, so a lot of my attention is going towards that. There's still a lot of fundmental stuff to work but once I get it working I think the content should pour out easily. Hopefully I don't get hung up on this project for as long as I did the last one.

Today marks the release of Tim-Tim 2: The Almighty Gnome
I don't post on here very often, so if you're reading this, thanks for sticking in there and being a reader.
I released a game I've been working on for a very long time today. Tim-Tim 2: The Almighty Gnome has been a project of mine since I first completed the first of the series. I felt like there was so much I wanted to add into that game but decided it was better to complete a game and make a sequel rather than just keep improving the same game over and over. And here I am again looking at the game I made and thinking of all the things that would make it better. Will there be a Tim-Tim 3? Only time will tell, but I do have ideas for it.
It's available on Steam and Itch.io. If you get it on Steam soon, it's 10% off.
https://store.steampowered.com/app/570110/TimTim_2_The_Almighty_Gnome/
if you miss the sale, it's still only 4 bucks so I hope you'll give it a try anyways.
There's a comment section here that I'll be checking, so if you have any questions or comments let me know. You can also leave feedback on steam or itch.

Landscape Champ '58
It's 1958 and you just moved into a new neighborhood.
Suddenly, you're told there's a contest to see who has the best yard and you only have 6 weeks to get things looking presentable.
Schedule time off work to shop so you can be the Landscaping Champ of 1958.
I made this game for "Summer Slam 2021" which is a small game making contest. Basically, I tried to take the popular decorating genre featured in titles like stardew valley and animal crossing and combine it with old arcade style gameplay. The result is quick session of yard design that's never the same twice.
Anyways, I hope you'll give it a play and let me know what you think.

instead of on my blog. Whoops!
I feel like I've been working on Tim-Tim 2 forever.
Anyways, here are a few pictures from the development of Tim-Tim 2 "The Almighty Gnome"

Are you still there?
Wow, it's been almost a year since I posted here.Well, I had another child. Link was born this last July 1st. I also moved to a new house and have been going through some other personal matters.
That said I haven't been working too much on making games.
Work has continued on Tim-Tim 2.It's moving along slowly. I've been posting my progress on a forum located here...
https://www.slimesalad.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=7086&postdays=0&postorder=asc&start=135
I've also been doing some more work on the up coming Axe Cop RPG game. Here's a trailer:

I also did a tiny bit of work on the game Kaiju Big Battel: Fighto Fantasy, which will be coming out soon. Here's it's steam page ::

In Production
First, Tim-Tim 2: "The Almighty Gnome" is still being developed. A lot of progress has been made. I've posted a few updates about it on my twitter account and will continue to post progress on it as progress is made. Right now, I'm shooting for a summer 2018 release, but there are no hard dates set right now.
Next up is Dungeon Bout. The Dungeon Bout multiplayer demo is still currently available over on Slimesalad.com and progress on the story mode is still being made. Development on this has been halted in order to focus more on Tim-Tim 2, however a good deal of progress has been made and there isn't a lot more to be done before launch. I would say after Tim-Tim 2 is complete, Dungeon Bout should follow soon after. Expect it late next year.
Moving along to other things, Slimeomancy 2 has begun production. For this project I'm reaching out to other artists and developers to complete the project. Development is being done along side my other projects and so this game won't be held up by their release dates. However, no release date estimation is yet available for this title.
After that is Kruntorvas. Kruntorvas is currently third in line for development; meaning development is planned to start after Tim-Tim 2 and Dungeon Bout are complete. However, if Slimeomancy 2's style of development is a success, I may have Kruntorvas follow suit and bring in outside developers to work on it.
The final game currently in line for development is currently code named: Kinvesard Dungeoncrawl. It's a multiplayer rogue-like focused around slow hard gameplay. The general engine and gameplay style can be seen in Tim-Tim's tower, however a ton of changes are planned for this upcoming title.
There are also some other projects being worked on. I'm currently doing a bit of coding for the rpg adaption of the comicbook/TV show Axe Cop.
I'm also working on a small 2 player app based board game that has been a bit of a pet project for a while. I'm coding it in a language I normally don't work in and so is really just a way to learn more about that language.
